Medium UK to restructure management
12 May, 2011 - Hayes, Middlesex: Medium UK, a value-added distributor specialising in visual communications, has today announced a management restructure following the chosen departure of Commercial Director Paul O’Reilly and Associate Director of Sales Peter Finn. The imminent restructure will support Medium’s continued growth in key technology sectors, including video communications and digital signage.
In the first of a number of management changes Terry French has been appointed to the newly-created post of Head of Video Communications, leading the sales and technical development of Medium’s video communications offering centered on LifeSize Communications.
Terry French joined Medium UK in 2010 as its Technical Services Manager, bringing with him a wealth of audio visual and video communications experience from his 15 years within the vendor and reseller sides of the business, including roles at Audicom Pendax, Matrix Display Systems and Maidenhead Audio Visual.
Managing Director and founder of Medium UK Ian Sempers explains: “Our strategy to focus on emerging technologies and markets in a post-Becta landscape has contributed to significant growth of 18% achieved last year. The restructure reflects the changing shape of the business and facilitates further development that will deliver growth to us and our reseller and vendor partners through 2011 and beyond.”
