Medium consolidates
Hayes, UK, April 14, 2010: Medium UK is consolidating its service offering by bringing in house Beyondis, its Video Conferencing arm. Medium acquired Beyondis on the second half of last year adding LifeSize’s HD video conferencing to its product line. Beyondis will now trade under the name of Medium UK.
This move demonstrates Medium’s continued drive to enhance its value added distribution business model. Medium can now offer a unified communications platform with a range of products representative of an exciting, growing and emerging market place.
Ian Sempers, MD of Medium UK said: “By incorporating the full range of video communication products and services into our Head Office we can provide our customers with an integrated platform of products to generate additional growth”.
Kristian Davies, the Divisional Manager of Medium UK VC -ex-Beyondis- adds: “Video Conferencing is the most vibrant area of AV technology. Medium is offering resellers the ability to enjoy the benefits of video conferencing. I believe Medium’s ability to supply screens, furniture and complementary products - as well as a video communications team providing technical support and service – puts it in a strong position within the AV market.”
In line with this integration, Medium UK is embarking on a recruitment campaign to strengthen its video communications offering with a number of external sales people throughout the country.
